Drones and The Future of Fireworks: Will Drones Replace Fireworks?

In today industries, the drones are being used for almost everything. From providing security and surveillance for storefront properties to supporting the law enforcement agencies with locating the suspects. The drones are becoming jack of all trade for its adaptability and flexibility. Which prompts the question: will drones replace fireworks?

And if you think the fireworks isn’t going to get replaced anytime soon.

Well, think again.

Because the drones have shown to be useful application in replacing the fireworks for many positive benefits. The days of enjoying the smell of gunpowder and fire might be almost over.

As the drones are becoming advanced, many users have found creative ways to do with them. And using them to replace the fireworks is a no exception. The drones are what is becoming that everyone has come across as familiar and an intriguing device toolset capable of performing anything depending on its setup.

Not only the drones are making rapid advancement in the industries, they are also creating new jobs for remote pilots. Federal Aviation Administration announces that the number of drone commercial jobs is expected to grow by fourfold in 2022.

Hiring experienced remote pilots not only help keeps agencies’ overhead costs low, they also gain a wide access to aerial overview and additional benefits that the drones brings to the table.

In this part, having a few or so of experienced remote pilots that can orchestrate together to create customized and unique patterns in the sky can well proven to be both fascinating and mind-boggling.

What people are seeing when the drones fly during the night time is done in an actual 3-D pattern compared to the fireworks. This takes the whole level of artwork and creativity to the next level.

As the cities are starting to recognize the benefits that the drones has over the fireworks, they might choose to replace them. With an exception some small cities will choose to keep the fireworks to follow old tradition and whatnot.

Let’s get on to the reasons why the drones will replace fireworks.

Drones are Quieter

One of the biggest advantages why the drones will replace fireworks is due to the fact they are quieter. To perform regular fireworks, you need gunpowder and fire. Once you ignite the fuse, it makes loud noise when it reach the gunpowder and explodes in the sky.

Fireworks often exceed 150dB that are painful and loud enough to human ears if standing too close. When there are multiple explosions, the effects of loud noise overlaps that can be heard much farther.

Because of these loud noises, some animals gets very scared. Trying to comforting them can be a tough task since animals generally have better hearing sense than humans does.

Also, some people have a very sensitive hearing that prevents them from being able to enjoy the beauty of fireworks. Which actually does sucks for them because they can’t experience the same feeling that we do.

Quiet Drones

Drones on the other hand only generate a low, humming noise of between 30dB to 40dB. That is about five times quieter than launching the fireworks into the sky.

Multiple drones will only increase its overall noise by a few dB. But it is still capable of keeping the noise relatively quiet enough for everyone to be able to enjoy.

Moreover, the drones can be used more than just fire and forget. The length of fireworks depends on how much gunpowder you have.

But the length of fireworks with the drones depends on the battery life. Therefore, it is very easy and reliable to use drones to provide performance during night time.

Bring your furry creatures with you

Everyone loves their furry creatures right? There are often times where I wished I could have brought my family’s dog with me just to watch and enjoy the fireworks.

Unfortunately, because I mentioned that the animals easily get scared of explosive noises. My family’s dog can’t really enjoy it the way I do and have to stay home instead which is a big disappointment.

But what if the drones will replace fireworks? Quieter noise means more people will be able to bring their furry friends with them.

The drones helps brings everyone come out together and build a closely knitted community. After all, you want to be with your best friend along.

Being able to bring your furry creatures is a great way and brings excitement among other furry-minded people. And that creates a much healthy, happier and positive community thanks to the use of drones.

Everyone Sleeps Better

If that is anything but this one, I hope you are not a summer scrooge who threatens people for depriving of your sleep time on July of 4th.

We get that some people need to sleep on that date because of job and whatnot. But, July of 4th is a special once a year celebration that brings everyone out as a form of community relations.

So, how do we address these complaints that people can’t sleep? The drones are much quieter than fireworks and doesn’t causes that much of commotion.

Sleep Better

Which means people who prefers or have to sleep can do without being disturbed by loud noises. And those who want to watch and enjoy the fireworks can still do so.

It is a win-win situation for everybody. Right? We definitely can see the drones replacing fireworks as a new form to improve and mend the community relations.

Eliminates Fireworks Accidents

We all enjoy the fireworks. They are truly great at making amazing flashing colorful lights in the sky. But, did I mentioned that they are also dangerous?

Sometimes it is easy to forget how dangerous they can be. In fact, some people actually got burned by igniting the fuse. This prompted some community to question whether it is worth the risk at expense of audience to enjoy the show.

So say, if safety were to be a top priority for everyone to minimize injuries and deaths from fireworks-related. The drones are a much safer choice to go with. But, only for that reason, they should be flown by trained and experienced remote pilots.

One of the main reason why the drones will replace fireworks is due to them being quieter and doesn’t poses that many hazards as fireworks does.

They don’t go ka-boom, makes sputtering noise of flashing lights, or anything like that.

Just simply takeoff and enjoy the peaceful, quiet and elegant colorful lights as the drones glides in the dark. The experienced remote pilots will handle everything from that point with reflective night strips for landing and the like.

Flexibility and Customization Design

The style and design of fireworks is limited and determined by its preset. If you really want to make something special like unique face. You really have to put a lot of effort and time to master it.

As of a result, it can be quite time consuming and frustrating for those who wants to impress the audience.

However, what if I were to tell you that it is possible to do with drones? With probably around 30 to 40 drones flying together to create unique and iconic faces will leave an everlasting impressions on the audience.

With how easy and flexible the drones can do, there are endless combination you can think of.

Want to make a Effiel Tower? Sure, go for it. How about drawing a U.S Flag? Go for it. They are all possible with coordination of drones working together.

Cheaper and affordable

Professional work for a high quality fireworks display can well easily go over $10,000 to $20,000 for a 20 minutes.

However, that being said the drones are cheaper and affordable option compare to the fireworks.

What the remote pilots will need is a group of small drones that is wind-resistant and packed with colorful LED lights. These drones are mostly made of plastic and lightweight materials without screws which makes it overall cheap and affordable.

With the price of hosting drone-related fireworks can be made widely accessible for cities with low budget compared to Houston that has a large budget of $100,000.

Not only the small cities will be able to afford them. People living in these cities will be able to observe and enjoy in their own premises.

Better for Environment

Believe it or not, the fireworks are main factor in contributing carbon dioxide to the environment. In fact, an analysis revealed that the fireworks creates pollution as much as 2,700 acres of wildfire.

Yikes, that is not good and you are right. Definitely not good. Not only it impacts our planet’s sustainability, it also hurts wildlife who might be affected by the ton of carbon dioxide emission caused by the fireworks.

Better Environment

This calls for the drones to replace fireworks as a serious and potential contender. Don’t get me wrong, the electric drones do still produce carbon dioxide. But they are very minuscule compared to launching the fireworks in the sky.

In fact the drones actually beats truck in carbon emission savings. So can they do with the fireworks too!

In pro-green states, replacing the fireworks with drones can and might be well a legitimate sound reason to do so.

Drones Will Replace Fireworks As The Future of Industry

Out of all these reasons why the drones will replace fireworks are great time to promote for the change. As more cities are seeing the benefits that the drones has to offer in terms of lower cost, flexibility and environment friendly, they will slowly switch over to them.

Not only the drones are great for these, they are awesome enough to let you bring your furry friends with you. People who have jobs in the morning that needs to sleep will be able to enjoy without putting up complaints.

Everyone will be able to still enjoy the show that drones has to offer.

No startling noises or anything like that, but peaceful and quite noise that you and the rest of people can enjoy.

The next time when someone asks you if the drones will replace the fireworks. You will be sure to know the reasons why they are on the course to becoming the next leading industry in fireworks.

Until then, happy droning!
