Introducing Mavic 2 Drone: The Quadcopter That Files On Its Own

In August 2018, DJI debuted their latest drone featuring two different models for consumers and an enterprise-class model for industries. Introducing the DJI Mavic 2 drone, the world most intelligent camera drone. This quadcopter is packed with an impressive flight time of 31 minutes and superior remote control distance up to 8,000 meters. The Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro comes with different camera systems that specializes in its own unique way.

The Mavic 2 Zoom uses a 12MP camera mounted on a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer just like the original Mavic Pro. However, there are several enhancements to the drone, specifically the quality of camera and the ability to zoom up to 2.8 times closer without losing image quality. Just like its counterpart, it is outfitted with HDR toning technology for a smoother, vibrant, and natural color to the aerial footage.

On the other hand, the Mavic 2 Pro is geared toward professionals. It comes with a professional-grade 20MP Hassleblad camera mounted on a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer. While it uses the same flight systems and features that the Zoom uses, the quality that the Pro has to offer is clearly better. Travelers, marketers, and photographers will find that the Mavic 2 Pro is their best friend for photography. However, both models still use 4K UHD resolution setting for videos as the original Mavic Pro did.

Mavic 2 Smart Drone

Mavic 2: The Smartest Drone That Files On Its Own

One of the key takeaways that the Mavic 2 drone brings to the table is the ability to fly autonomously. The drone comes with 360-degree obstacle avoidance detection systems from front to sides to rear. It even includes infrared sensor on the top that automatically detects objects such as ceiling and overhead objects. Which is a much needed feature that the original Mavic Pro didn’t have. Since the drone can see objects in a full 360-degree, it can adjust its own flight path without manual assistance.

The sensors can see objects up to 40 feet away which provides plenty of breathing room for the Mavic 2. It makes the flight missions especially useful for following the person in dense forest areas. Even to track moving objects like a fast car across the ridge without having to worry about things in the back. Another important feature that also improves the Mavic 2 drone’s performance is the ability to automatically predict the trajectory of moving subject.

The feature is enabled via intelligence flight modes and in ActiveTrack mode. This is the latest move that moves the professional cinematic video skillset higher while making it easier for beginners and intermediate drone pilots to take advantage of these automated flight functions. With Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro, you can rest assured that you will have an easy time making beautiful aerial footage with a tap of button.

Mavic 2 Enterprise: Crafted for Industries

Mavic 2 Enterprise Smart Drone

Finally, we didn’t forget about the Mavic 2 Enterprise. This is one of the most expensive model geared toward public agencies, specifically law enforcement agencies, construction, and agriculture. While it has the same flight systems that the Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro does. It comes with several modules that you can install on the drone like loudspeaker, thermal camera and searchlights that enhances its performance for critical missions.

Since it is crafted differently than the two models intended for consumers. It is only sold on the company’s official website via specialized dealer. Moreover, the price can vary depending on the specifications, modules and shipping cost. However, the Mavic 2 Enterprise is one of the first drone that features integrated modules. In older drone models, you had to purchase third-party modules to make modifications to the quadcopter.

That is no longer the case with the latest Mavic 2 Enterprise. Which is a huge improvement and a step toward simplifying the drone operations for the industries. With the rapid evolution of smart drones being introduced in the consumer market. The Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro is a huge step toward portability, compact, and even smarter flight experience. You can order either Zoom or Pro via here for the best price.
